Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here are some silly green pictures of Xander wearing a funny hat at Whole Foolds and reading his bus book in the car:

X Up Close

Xander, as always, has been a busy little dude.  He now tells us he wants to "eat" all the time, he still loves playing with Molly but talks about Andy more frequently, and he's finally getting his bottom lateral incisors!  Xander has also been talking up a storm, now saying "on" and sometimes "off" as he plays with the light in the car, "jump" as he pulls his heels off the ground (although his toes stay planted), and "high five" as he gives high fives :).  I love how he says "Mmmm" when he eats, which we must do, too!  X has been feverish at night lately, with a sad little cough, and so has his mommy.  But we are hanging in there and having a blast during the day!

Here are some pictures of Xander playing last Monday night before bed.  Notice that in a couple you can see X's new tooth, which we didn't notice until Friday night--oops!

Xander's Library

My favorite thing to do with Xander is to read with him.  When Daddy's at work, we spend at least half of our special time together reading.  And right before bed, Paul reads to me and Xander, which I look forward to every day.  Recently, Xander's books have taken over the house:  piles in the living room, bat cave, and bedrooms.  Even books in the bathroom.  So this weekend, Paul and I organized some book shelves to that Xander's books would have a shelf or two of their own.  Here are Xander's books (minus a few, including his awesome Tickle Monster book from uncle Jack and aunt Kate, which is in a special spot in his bedroom):

Reading

This is Xander focusing on the book he's currently reading. He tends to respond more to the circles than the squares or stripes. When he is feeding, Sarah has been reading him Roald Dahl's "Fantastic Mr. Fox" out loud. His Morrison grandparents came today, we will say more about that later : )

New outfit lasted all of ten minutes

This is Xander all spiffed up in his green outfit. He had it on for just a few moments before he projectile vomited all over himself and his mommy! Good thing we got the photo : )
Last night went much smoother than the night before. We read him his first Asimov robot story around 3 in the morning. He seemed to like it from what we could tell. I think all of us got more rest and are feeling pretty good this morning!
