62 Weeks???

Is Xander really 62 weeks old already? That seems like such an awfully big number... I guess he is getting awfully big--I can't believe how tall he is now! He's so beautiful, loving, and inquisitive. Xander figures some things out so quickly now, but gets frustrated when other things take more time.

Here's what's new with Xander:

• His new word this week is "up"
• He can say Andy, but it sounds kinda like "Amdy"
• He has 4 molars now!
• He enjoys eating beans, corn, bread, tortillas, and other small solid food
• More than ever, he hates being confined and prefers being able to explore
• Xander loves climbing into the bathtub now when I'm brushing my teeth, washing my face, etc.  What a cool new play place!  Here are some pics from my iphone:

Xander's 15-Week Favorites

Xander loves having fun, and he's interacting with the world in new ways every day.  Here are some activities Xander loves to do:

He is really interested in his toys now.  He enjoys putting them (and his thumb and blankets) in his mouth.

Two Month Dr. Visit!

Today we went to the Dr. for vaccinations. Xander got three shots and had to drink more medicine! He is all worn out now and cuddling with his Mommy : ) Xander weighs 12 lbs 9.5 oz! He is 23 inches tall and his head circumference is 39 centimeters. He has been so busy growing! Here are some pictures of Xander before and after his bath. Bath Time!!!

Xander is so fresh and so clean! He didn't seem to mind the bath, but he was cold after it was over, and he let us know : )
