I’m the roughtest toughest kitty n the land
My name is Mr. Pants

Like most members of the subfamily, the golden hamster has expandable cheek pouches, which extend from its cheeks to its shoulders. In the wild, hamsters are larder hoarders; they use their cheek pouches to transport food to their burrows. Their name in the local Arabic dialect where they were found translates to "mister saddlebags" (Arabic: أبو جراب) due to the amount of storage space in their cheek pouches.

Bread!

Funny faces at a restaurant

I think we found that scarf in a parking lot!

Xander thinks it's funny!

Here is Xander laughing at his mommy as she drops a tape dispenser over and over. This was a most amusing joke to him : )

Morning Smiles :)

I know that mornings can be difficult for some families.  I am so thankful that I don't have to drop Xander off at daycare every morning.  When I leave for work, chances are that Paul and X may still be asleep for another hour.  But every once in a while, like this morning, they are awake and send me off with a smile on my face!  Xander is so much fun to say goodbye to:  he smiles and giggles as we wave, and he thinks it's fun to look out the window at me and tap on the glass.  He also does this if Paul has to leave in the evenings :)

Leaving is also easier knowing that Paul will send me pictures of their adventures taken from his phone or ipod.  Here are some recent "Paul Day Pics:"
