Bye-Bye Hubie!

We lost a beloved family member this week:  Xander's best bud, Hubie! :(  I don't know who was more upset, Xander or me, but we had quite a harrowing evening.  Xander had Hubie since he was a baby, and in recent months they have been inseparable.  Hubie was such a good friend!  Nevertheless, things are returning to normal around here with our new friend, Newbie Hubie.  Check him out!

We have so many pictures from Xander's trip to the Tielke's last weekend and we still have to go through them all.  Luckily, Gema sent us some to post right away!  We had a great time seeing the family and hanging out.  Xander enjoyed every minute of it!

We had visitors last weekend!

Tielkes and Schwedes were in Omaha last weekend and everyone got to go shopping with Xander.  We were celebrating Grandpa Jerry's birthday : )  Yesterday Xander went on a horse carriage ride through downtown! It was nice to experience good weather : )

Sioux Falls Xmas!

We visited Sioux Falls last weekend to celebrate Christmas.  Seven dogs were playing together in the house!  The whole family made the trip and we even had a visit from the elusive Green Man : )  Xander was in good spirits even though he had a cold.

Week 12: Wedding in Lincoln

Xander had a busy twelfth week so far.  He went to work with his Dad every day and even traveled to Lincoln for Alex and Vanessa's wedding!  And on top of it all, he went through a growth spurt and none of us got any sleep for 3 days.
