Molars??

We were driving down to Bellevue yesterday and I noticed something in Xander's mouth:  a molar!  And he has another coming in.  He doesn't even have any of his lateral incisors yet.  Xander doesn't really complain about teething, but the appearance of his new teeth explain a few things.

Xander's Gema and Grandpa Jerry, as well as an assortment of Schwedes, came to Omaha last weekend to visit.  Unfortunately, we didn't take many pictures of our visitors, but Gema sent us some great pics of our little man!  Xander had a blast crawling around the hotel and was able to go swimming there twice.  He was sick last week, but was feeling a lot better by the time his family came.  Our Xander is back to his happy, bubbly self!

First time X looks happy in the grass

We have had a busy summer and Xander is having a blast and gathering new skills!  He likes to crawl and climb on everything ( including Molly, who just lays there and tolerates him ).  Xander enjoys chasing Andy around the house and pulling on his tail : )  He likes to take the food we are feeding him and sharing it  with us (and the dogs).  Xander has learned that he can carry things in his mouth while he crawls around : pirate style!  He has learned a new dance move where he shakes his head from side to side.  He likes techno music and Katy Perry.  Xander has also started getting into the habit of resting his head on pillows, people and other soft things (Molly)

We have been going to the YMCA to work out almost daily and Xander has made friends with the other kids and the nice ladies that work there!  He also loves to go swimming with us.  We have been avoiding the heat and taking X to the various kids' play areas at the malls around town. He is having so much fun this summer! : )

Xander's Dinosaur Adventures!

Last month Xander was able to visit a whole bunch of different dinosaurs : )  He wants to be a T-Rex when he grows up!  Oh and we also went to Easter Island to hang out with some pretty cool giant-headed guys
