A Visit from Max and Brittany

Max and Brittany met up with us at the zoo last weekend and Xander had a blast meeting new people!  Sarah had that Friday off and it was a nice three day weekend with good weather.  Andy and Molly also had a good time playing with Max and Brittany.

Xander's 4 Month Doctor Visit

We took Xander to get checked out on Thursday.  He weighed 15 pounds 5 ounces, he is 25.5 inches long and his head circumference is 41 centimeters around.  He is in the 75th percentile for his height and the 20th percentile for his head size!  He was a very good baby even when they gave him his two shots and a drink for vaccines.  The doctor said that he was perfect : )

Paul Day Pics

I have a folder on my work laptop entitled "Paul Day Pics," in which I keep all of the pictures Paul sends me from his phone during the day when we're apart.  I love these pictures, because I get a glimpse of what my boys are doing--things like hanging out in their PJ's, taking a shower, playing with toys, doing the laundry, taking naps.  I thought I would share a few of the latest ones:

Xander at 16 Weeks

I find it hard to believe that Xander is 16 weeks old!  We've had so much fun over the last (almost) 4 months, and Xander has changed so much.  This week, Xander went to the last farmer's market of the season, saw his Mommy's work for the firs t time, has been rolling over, and now spends more time "talking" in his baby babble!  Oh yeah, and he's also starting to get his Daddy's brown eyes :)

Xander loves having fun, and he's interacting with the world in new ways every day.  Here are some activities Xander loves to do:

He is really interested in his toys now.  He enjoys putting them (and his thumb and blankets) in his mouth.
